Methods: In this randomized control trial, 42 children with CP (5-12 years old) were randomly assigned into the intervention and control groups. Data were collected using the Gross Motor Function Classification System and Gross Motor Function Measure. Results: Gross motor function suggested significant improvement in the intervention group, in comparison with the control group (P<0.01). Discussion: Handling training of mothers could be advised as a complementary and helpful intervention for gross motor function improvement in children with CP.
